FRIDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2008

In our cute little town of DePere
(sort of like a suburb of Green Bay),
there are some darling shops.
One of my favorite is the Assemblage Studio...
a haven where you can take classes, shop, or
just get a lot of INSPIRATION!
~~~~~~
Despite some very cold weather, I just had to venture out and
poke around the shop yesterday.
And yes... I found lots of treasures!
My December Daily album (day 11) reflects my mini adventure.
~~~~~~
I used a Hambly overlay with letter tiles spelling 'l-o-v-e' right
in the middle of the overlay.
This allowed the photo on the next page to be seen.

This is just one of many shots I took in the store.
It's a potpourri of memories!

On the back of that page I put an assortment of
things that remind me of the studio.
A glittery tag, a small sepia photo of 4 people singing
'Fa La La', a small photo of the studio itself
and some letter tiles spelling JOY... the way I felt in there.
Now you have to open the red door.
Inside is my journaling about my experience.
Also on old Uncle Wiggly game card that I remember
playing (the game) as a child.
Then I added another photo of the inside of the studio.
There are so many treasures in that shop/studio
that it would take a lot of photos to show them all.

COME VISIT!
~~~~~~~~
A quick decorating idea...
Keep your eyes out for interesting cards and frame them.
This is a laser-cut white design over green paper with
touches of red added.
Love it!
The snow lady is part of my snowman collection...
another day!
I found the cute little pipe cleaner skater on
www.marthastewart.com
Enjoy!
Food for thought...
Oh, the things you can think up if only you try!”
I love how each page has so many neat things! Opening doors is like unlocking secrets!
Saucy and I hunt dollar stores, scrapbook stores and Michaels for charms and of course make a fair amount ourselves! We would love to send you our 1st Family Christmas Card Grammy Joni, and we would even tuck in a few special Christmas cupcake charms we have left over from our Toggle Party 2008! Are you thinking about making a charm bracelet for your grade 1 teacher friend? Daughters? Yourself? Good catch on me calling the Sprout Foster..ooops! If you would like to send your addie the email I use most is chantellekinakin@hotmail.com (yes, that's my real name I am not some blog weirdo! Oops, it is my old name actually, now it is Chantelle Fourney)
