Victoria is back!

Victoria magazine is back!
Sorting through the mail from a few days ago, I found this card (see photos). I am so excited and I wonder how many of you are feeling the same way? I loved this magazine and kept my stacks of back issues. They're timeless! But, suddenly, a number of years ago... they just discontinued the magazine. I've noticed the magazine mentioned in a lot of the blogs I read. So, for you folks, here is the exciting news if you didn't get a card in the mail. I photographed both sides so you could see the company's address. I tried to find a web address but couldn't. Maybe you'll have better luck.
If you have never experienced curling up with a copy of Victoria, you must give it a try. I loved collecting their quotes and reading stories by famous authors. Each issue featured so much:
*clever interior design ideas
*romantic gardens
*collectibles/antiques
*beauty & fashion that uniquely appeals to Victoria fans
*beauty and bath products for body, mind, & spirit
*gracious cooking, entertaining, and living as a timeless art
I'm excited to fall in love with Victoria all over again!

Hi Joni, thanks for the comment on my blog. Victoria is not a magazine I'm familiar with but it's obviously popular! We're having a great time with Norma here and my children all love her to bits and want to spend as much time as possible with her. We're keeping busier than expected but it's all good. The time is going to go too fast!

Thanks for coming by.
Yes I heard it was back and plan to take out a subscription. I hope it will be as good as it was back in the 80's:)

best wishes Ginny

I'm interested in your previous post about the bicentennial. Americans are so different from British people in their patriotism. We're probably patriotic too, but wouldn't really admit it!

Though actually I feel more Scottish than British, I think - though British too.

I will post a scone recipe tomorrow, by the way.

I loved Victoria. I've kept the first ever issue since 1989. I was very sad to see it go. I chose to switch my subscription to Sunset when they announced that it wasn't going to be published anymore. Oohh...so exciting.

I've never seen this magazine - wonder if it will be available in Australia.

my best friend and i loved this magazine, we were young housewives and it inspired us in the midst of chaos and small children..we made our kids sit down to little lunches and picnics lifted from this amgazine, we gave each other hadn-crafted/assembled gifts form this magazine...and todaiy our kids (boys and girls alike) have a taste for beauty and romance... not only to the magazines credit, but the magazine made it easier for us...thanks for taking me down this little memory trip
