My hair is so straight and fine... and it always looks the same. It looked like this when I was a little girl, in my HS Senior picture, in college, when I got married, and when I was a teacher. It just lays there! I use a curling iron... and it goes totally straight... and the curling iron is soooo hot I have scars on my neck, shoulders, and hands. I've used hot rollers... straight within an hour. So last month I asked Mary, who's been doing my hair since the girls were in booster seats at the salon, to do something I could wear to a wedding. I wasn't going to a wedding... I just wanted to do something fun.
So, this is my BEFORE picture...

It took goop and rollers under the dryer. And a ton of hairspray. But I liked it! Of course I ripped it apart before I went to bed and have not been able to do it myself. Oh, well... at least I know it's possible if I have an occasion to need my hair up.Thanks Mary!

Oh I just love your hair! That was so pretty! Dont you hate it when you go get you hair done and love it, then can never recreate it?

Love your hair. I have straight fine hair as well, naturally brown when I was youn(er) and now coloured with hair-dye in some nice and natural colours! We have to endure all those tortures to look great!
Joni, turn around I want to see your cute face with all that hair piled up....darling from behind. Funny, I had a bad hair day today, and in a moment of insanity, went into a "Super Cut" and said, take some of this "bulk" off....AND SHE DID....BOY DID SHE. I won't be posting a self portrait for a few weeks...thank heaven my hair does grow fast, and I had tons of it.

your hair looked lovely , mines curly and it takes alot of serum to stop the frizz and a large amount of hair products to keep it under control !!! oh to have straight hair just for a day :0)
