A unique and must-see movie

Almost every evening after dinner, Boyd and I watch a movie/DVD.
Last night we watched 'Ratatouille'.
Normally I'm not a big fan of animated films... but this was charming!
A rat named Remy dreams of becoming a great French chef despite his family's wishes and the obvious problem of being a rat in a decidedly rodent-phobic profession. When fate places Remy in the sewers of Paris, he finds himself ideally situated beneath a restaurant made famous by his culinary hero, Auguste Gusteau. Despite the apparent dangers of being an unlikely... and certainly unwanted visitor in the kitchen of a fine French restaurant, Remy's passion for cooking and his friendship with his boy pal Linguini, soon sets into motion a hilarious and exciting rat race that turns the culinary world of Paris upside down.
Charming, charming, charming!
And... my husband enjoyed it as much as I did.
It's a movie for everyone!

The movie is in our cinema’s right now. I lóve Ice Age 1 and 2. They are so beautifully made and sound effects are wonderful.

Although I am sure this movie is as charming as you describe (I did see previews), I have such a phobic aversion to rodents that even this little cartoon movie is difficult for me to watch. My DH expressed that he wants to see it and I told him to buy it and watch it, but I won't be in the room. Sorry, but I can't do it.

Can't wait to show it to the children. The other day Hugh won a colouring in competition and received some products from this movie. Gosh Joni..what are you doing to me...I am now chasing movies and books because of you! What fun!

Ali and I loved this one, too. Remy's brother was one of our favourite characters. Loved the lightning scene.

I loved it too!! I think I liked it more than my kids - those authentic details made it so lovely. It was totally lost on the kiddos...

Happy birthday to you... (I'm singing. Can you hear me?)

It's my brother's birthday too on the 9th - you're twins. (He's 60 today. He's my big brother; let me make this clear.)

Have a great day.
