Yes... I'm thinking about and getting ready for Christmas.
To enjoy the Christmas Season...
the planning,
the preparations,
the decorating,
& the creativity,
I know I need to be organized for the month of December.
~~~~~
The stores are filled with Christmas
and the Christmas catalogs are filling the mailbox.
~~~~~
We usually have Boyd's family here for Christmas Day,
however this year we are going to his sister's in Madison.
No gifts this year.
Our gift to each other will be spending time together.

Below is a picture of some Scandinavian Tomten
that I ordered for our house.
I got them on ebay.
Cute and fun to play with...
making patterns on the coffee table.
They look so proud standing so straight & tall!
and assembled
and will probably reassemble before December begins.
There is room and spaces and dates for each day of the month.
Places for photos and journaling.
I want to record "our story" of the month.
I will appreciate it when December arrives
and I just have to pop in daily photos
and record something special about that day.

I'm using a Scandinavian theme (I'm a Larson)
I'm using a Scandinavian theme (I'm a Larson)
but you don't have to have a theme.
I'm going to order one for our house and both of
my girls.
A good St. Nick's gift!
The catalog is Gardener's Supply Company.
He is a Tomte that just arrived from Finland
and the creative hands of Kajsa at Syko.
She has others just waiting to find a new home.

Make this a great weekend!

Okay, that lollipop tree is absolutely the most cute thing I've seen in a long, long time! Wow.
I love the scrapbook idea, too. What wonderful holidays you will celebrate with your family.
Have a great day, my friend. ..
I love that tree, too! Cute. And I love that you posted about Christmas, because, well, I just love Christmas!!! Hee hee. I am so excited to be spending it in the States this year that I am getting all worked up for it earlier than usual! :) Thanks for the cute ideas. I think I might have to try one of those albums for December. I would love to have down all the details of our girls' first furlough (especially Christmas) in the States...and you know if I don't do it on a daily basis I will forget all those fun details by the time I get around to doing it later! :)
OMGosh...can you believe it. My children are so excited and it is not even November yet! LOL!
I'm so glad theat Melker arrived safely, he looks so happy on that christmas red chair!
The lollypop tree would sure be a hit in our house!
Oh, Joni, these things are all so lovely but it's November 1st and some of us aren't remotely ready for Christmas yet. Aarrgghh.
The lollipop tree is fabulous! You’re in expert in finding the most wonderful decorations! Love Kajsa’s Melker!
