My favorite show was "The Mickey Mouse Club"!! When my dad was out of town I would eat my dinner on a TV tray in front of the show. I sang all of the songs with them and did a few of the dances. I loved the 'Spin and Marty' movies and was a fan of Annette Funnicello.

Oh goodness, that sure brought back memories. I used to rush home to watch the Mickey Mouse Club. My father worked late on Thursdays so we watched Highway Patrol on TV trays. It was the only time we were allowed to eat food that came out of a can--I loved spaghetti from a can. I wouldn't touch it today!
I did so love Happy Days and Little House on the Prairie!
Ha! TV Trays -- now that's a classic part of my childhood too! Wasn't it fun to eat dinner on them and watch tv -- Wow. I loved all the show you mentioned, although I definitely don't remember the Miss Brooks show. Two notatables that I loved that you don't mention were Mr. Ed and Bonanza! Thanks for the walk down memory lane!
Joni, growing up in South Africa we didn't get TV until the 1970s. I did recognise Lassie and The Lone Ranger but it wasn't from watching them I'm afraid. I remember watching the Fame series and Dallas but not really any of the older programmes. (Oh, seeing the second comment, we did watch Little House on the Prairie too!)
oh what fun ... I remember some of these shows Joni. I used to love watching the Disney show we used to have on a Saturday night.
Apart from Dutch series I remember watching Peyton Place, Lassie, Flipper, the Lucy show, Dallas, Dynasty, the Dick van Dyke show and of course... Thunderbirds! All in black and white...!
